Allendale Luncheon Focuses On Wellness, Beauty

ALLENDALE, N J. -- Three experts in nutrition, yoga and chemical-free skin care plan to share tips and tricks during a Friday, Oct. 7, luncheon at the John Fell House Tea Room in Allendale.

It takes place between noon and 2:30 p.m., and proceeds from the event benefit the John Fell House, 475 Franklin Turnpike, which is owned by the nonprofit Concerned Citizens of Allendale.

Jacqueline Ehlert-Mercer, registered dietitian and nutrition educator, will explain how to make nutrition and lifestyle changes simply by preparing wholesome foods. Maureen Primrose will share her story about ith breast cancer, how it led her to become a Reach for Recovery volunteer, and how yoga and meditation continue to help in her daily life.

Catherine Schwartz, founding independent beauty consultant for LimeLight by Alcone, will talk about the benefits of LimeLight’s chemical-free skin care products as well as the professional line of makeup for both day and evening. 

The Wellness and Beauty Luncheon features a seasonal buffet lunch catered by Christine of Secret Ingredients. The cost is $45 per person.
